The counterparty record for markets nobody indexed.

Fifty thousand companies across West and Sub-Saharan Africa. Registry filings, transaction history, banking relationships and credit decisions, assembled by operating the trade rather than scraping it.

Search confirms whether a record exists. The underlying documents are released only to verified requesters.

50,119
distinct companies, deduplicated across 46 sources
2,582
carry a credit-agency identifier with a report on file, across 9 countries
370
with a real credit history: limits, decisions, repayment records
1 in 3
carry at least one hard credit signal

Counts from the Caravel Companies Master. The searchable index is being loaded source by source and currently covers the customs and transit register layer.

What sits behind a record

Everything required to underwrite. Not a name and an address.

Most African company databases are directories. This one was built by a business that financed these buyers, shipped to them, and ran the exchange they trade on. The record reflects that.

Registry

Filings and licences

Corporate registration, customs and transit licences, gazette notices and corporate events, with the raw source preserved next to every normalised field.

Transactions

What they actually moved

Trades executed, tenors taken, and outcomes, drawn from a decade of operating cross-border trade and running the continent's trade exchange.

Banking

Who finances them

Named banking relationships and letter-of-credit history, which is the verification lever a desk in London or Dubai never has.

Credit

Limits, decisions, repayment

Credit-agency identifiers with reports on file, historic limit decisions, and our own default and recovery experience on the names we financed ourselves.

How access works

Search freely. Access is verified.

The same model as a credit bureau. Anyone can confirm a record exists. Only a verified party with a stated purpose sees what is in it, one obligor at a time.

01

Search

Type a company name. You see whether a record exists, its country, and which classes of information it holds. Nothing else.

02

Link your company

Request access with a work email and your company's registration details, or upload evidence of who you are. We verify every requester by hand.

03

Access per obligor

Access is granted for a named counterparty and a stated purpose: underwriting, trade finance or onboarding. There is no bulk export.

Coverage

The corridors we operate in.

Deepest in the UEMOA states and Ghana, where the record is longest, extending through wider Sub-Saharan and North African trade corridors.

We do not index the United Kingdom, Europe or North America, and we do not intend to. Records outside the corridors we work in are not in the database and never will be.

Confirm the record. Then ask for it.

If you finance, insure or onboard counterparties in these markets, this is the file the market told you did not exist.
